Secret Garden Greenhouse Wedding at Woodbridge Ponds with Rachel + Leighton

One of our hobbies/passions/whatever you call it has been taking care of our house plants over the years. The balance between finding the right dirt, water schedule, light, fertilizer, and much more is like taking care of little friends who you get to watch grow before your eyes.

All that being said, we have always had our eye on this beautiful venue space called Secret Garden. It is the most beautiful greenhouse-inspired event space surrounded by lush tropical plants, and when we were asked to join Rachel and Leighton, equally beautiful full-of-life people, we were all for it. These two are shining lights of positivity and brought us so much joy after a few rough pandemic years. Between not being able to take their eyes off each other, their energetic wedding party, and a dream venue, this wedding was extra special.

We have been humbled to have this special day be featured by the folks at Rocky Mountain Bride for their Vancouver wedding guide issue for 2022! Thank you to all the amazing vendors who made this great day happen.

There are some people who light the world up with their energy and love.. and Tori and Timmy are exactly those people. We met them at a previous wedding (Timmy even earlier from back in the day!) and were overjoyed that they chose us to be with them on their wedding day. As their wedding day logo explains, (yes they had a logo) they are a dynamite couple. This was one of the warmest days in the summer on the lake in Princeton, and the mountain behind us was on fire causing smoke to roll in just after the ceremony. Thankfully the only fire we saw was these two smoke shows getting married and ripping up the dance floor. Our hearts were so full leaving this day.

Every detail about this day was PERFECT and the pictures only show how much effort and thought went into everything. Huge love for all the vendors who came together to make this day so amazing.

Intimate Vancouver Chinatown Wedding with Christa and Kevin

I have known Kevin for a LONG time and when he asked me to capture his intimate wedding ceremony, it was a no brainer. Christa and Kevin chose to get married with their closest family and friends on a sunny day in May, in a beautiful studio space in Chinatown. If you know these two, you know that they are 10/10 people who you want to spend all your time with, and it was a pure joy to be with them on this special day.
